[Futuregen] SHARE questionnaire and still CAN data for Data Navigator

Dear Afshin,

Following today's zoom you will find attached the questionnaires for 
waves 1 and 6 of SHARE (there is a wave 7, but some questions on care 
are not asked).
PH004 and PH006 are the questions for chronic conditions and there is a 
generated variable on the number of chronic conditions in some waves 
(not in questionnaire).

The issue of which data to use for Canada for both health (e.g. ADLs and 
IADLs) and care-giving and receiving (formal and informal) remains open 
as we wait to hear from CLSA.
In the meantime, however, could you check for possible alternatives for 
Canada (e.g. GSS, CCHS) based on which would be closer in the definition 
of ADLs, IADLs, care-giving and receiving to SHARE, please?
The care variables in SHARE are, among others, HC032 and following and 
HC127 (formal home care for waves 1 and 6 respectively), SP004, SP020 
(informal care-receiving for both waves 1 and 6) and SP008 and SP018 
(informal care-giving waves for both waves 1 and 6).
