Dear all,

Some good news on the Data Navigator - please see below the reply from
the SHARE team to our request to use their data as part of our online
platform (happily, in time for the SB meeting).

Best regards, Stefania

Dear Stefania,

Thank you for providing the example to us. I was wondering whether the
number of respondents doesn't get very low for some of your graphs (e.g.
when you differentiate between income quartiles). However, this is your
decision of course.
As the excel file does only contain percentages and not case numbers, we
do not see any conflict regarding data protection rules.

We agree to the usage of SHARE for your platform under the following two
preconditions:
1) please insert the following footnote beneath each table: "Own
calculations based on SHARE data release 7.0.0"
2) please insert the SHARE acknowledgement at some place of your
platform. The acknowledgement is available at
http://www.share-project.org/data-access/citation-requirements.html and
just needs to be adapted to the waves you use.
Additionally, we would be grateful if you could send us the link as soon
as the platform is online.

Kind regards,
Stefan
