Dear all,
You may remember I mentioned at our last meeting that we were launching
a survey on experiences, attitudes, and expectations on long-term care
as part of another project. The survey has officially launched! Please
find further details below. It would be much appreciated if you could
circulate this within your network! The survey is available in 8
languages (EN, DE, ES, FR, MK, NL, RO, SQ).
Thank you and best regards,
Cassandra

As one of the Austrian partners and the coordinator of the InCARE
project <https://www.euro.centre.org/projects/detail/3876> (co-funded by
the European Union), the European Centre for Social Welfare Policy &
Research is inviting you to share your point of view through a survey on
experiences, attitudes, and expectations on long-term care. We also hope
for your support in disseminating the survey to ensure as many people as
possible are given the opportunity to express their views.
*What is this survey about?*
We would like to understand how people view care for older people with
support needs. How do they want those close to them or themselves to be
looked after, should they need it? What are their experiences with
receiving or providing care? And what are their expectations for the future?
*What is the purpose of this study?*
Findings from this study will be used to raise awareness of the
challenges faced by older people with care needs and their families, and
to advocate for policies that can support them. We will also use the
results to directly inform the design of socially innovative long-term
care service pilots in 3 European countries.
*How can you contribute?*
• If you are able and willing to contribute, you can answer the
survey directly here
<https://lse.eu.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_6nc3RoO51iB0Bng>. This should
not take more than 20 minutes of your time.
• We would be grateful if you could disseminate the survey as widely
as possible within your own network, by sharing this link
(*https://lse.eu.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_6nc3RoO51iB0Bng
<https://lse.eu.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_6nc3RoO51iB0Bng>*), or via
social media (on Twitter
<https://twitter.com/EuropeIncare/status/1442423516997906441> or on
Facebook
<https://www.facebook.com/EuropeanAssociationWorkingForCarers/posts/4814611731917524>).
Ensuring all those who need it have access to high quality, affordable
long-term care, in particular home-care and community-based services, is
a major challenge throughout Europe and at the global level. Policy
debates are ongoing on how to shape long-term care systems in the
future: it is essential that people are given a voice and this survey
will contribute to it.
We thank you very warmly in advance for your cooperation and remain at
your entire disposal for any further information.
Kindest regards,
Cassandra Simmons on behalf of the InCARE team
