Dear all,

The European Union has published his Green Book on Ageing
(https://ec.europa.eu/info/files/green-paper-ageing-fostering-solidarity-and-responsibility-between-generations_en)
and initiated a public consultation process to receive comments to
specific questions highlighted in the document:

https://ec.europa.eu/info/law/better-regulation/have-your-say/initiatives/12722-Demographic-change-in-Europe-green-paper-on-ageing/public-consultation

Susan, Stefan and myself have decided to join the consultation by
uploading a contribution from FutureGEN, which you will find attached.
Our input tries to highlight mostly gender equality aspects related to
health and care, so we have chosen only a few of the questions to
provide an input.

We circulate this for your information and so that you may flag anything
that you may disagree with or that you may want to add. This was the
approach we found to make this an efficient process - our comments are
unlikely to fundamentally change the document on their own, but it is
important to contribute to the public discussion when given the opportunity.

Please return any comments you might have till noon of Monday 19.4. We
will also post this on the FutureGEN website and in our next newsletter.
Thank you very much in advance!

On a different matter, I take the opportunity to welcome back Eszter to
FutureGEN after a leave of absence. It's great to have you back!

Best wishes,

Ricardo
