Dear Stefan, dear Janet,
Thank you very much for the one pager and comments below. Both are great
starting points for discussion.
Eszter raised one issue regarding gendered measures of health and care -
which we need to tackle still, somewhere between WPs 3 and 4. I paste
her comment below:
For WP4, it would be nice to elaborate a bit more on gendered
measures/indicators on health, care, socio-economic status, and how when
applying these measures for analysis on future cohorts of older people
attention needs to be paid to this. E.g. gender differences in measuring
self-assessed health, ADL/IADL, also differences btw cohorts of older
people when it comes to self-assessed health likely reflect changes in
educational attainment etc.
I also attach the *ideas for WP4 regarding caregiving*. Comments ahead
of the meeting tomorrow would be most welcomed as well!
Regarding the *agenda for tomorrow*, Susan and Afshin did not really
have the time to think further about the 2nd paper for WP3 - and I think
this is absolutely understandable giving the remarkable work they did in
revising the methods review in a short amount of time. Therefore the
agenda for tomorrow is:
* Quick round on progress of current papers in several WPs (cohort
study WP1, review WP1, widowhood WP2, WP4 ethics, etc....) [20 mins]
* WP4: discussion of ideas on how to address RQ 4.2. [55 minutes]
* AOB: includes setting next zoom dates [10 minutes]
Best wishes,
Ricardo
