Hi Ricardo (and Everyone),
The pilot testing is going very well. I will have the interviews done by next Monday morning and will have reviewed the outcome of the pilot testing with Selma and Erika. They will then pilot test the questions too and we will need to have another discussion (part of the process is translation and back translation, and we will resolve any issues we find among the questions).
Perhaps at our meeting we can plan to revisit discussion about some of the logistics of getting the qualitative study done at each site (for example, how translation and analysis). By the time of our meeting I expect to be drafting the ethics documents, and will finalize them once the pilot testing in Sweden and Austria are complete.
Selma and Erika, if I have missed anything please do let me/us know!
I hope everyone is having a good week.
Best wishes,
Janet

Subject: [Futuregen] Proposal for agenda for zoom on 2.6
Dear colleagues,
I hope this e-mail finds you all in good health.
For the zoom next week I would like to touch base with you on the
progress of the several WPs so that we can put together the agenda to
use our time efficiently. Below is my proposal, please add or change as
needed. I will then post this on Freedcamp.
Agenda 2.6
i) Qual study: progress of piloting the qual study in CAN and AT (40 mins)
Janet et al, how are you progressing with the qual study piloting? Have
you carried out any test interviews and would you like to report to the
group? I believe the aim was to have this piloted now so that we can
submit to ethics before the summer.
ii) WP3: methods review (20 minutes)
Susan and Afshin, you have received our comments to your excellent
paper. Would you want/need to discuss these?
iii) WP1: cohort analysis and review (15 minutes)
This would serve to discuss what is the timeline you have in mind for
the review (to get inputs from other authors) and progressing with the
cohort analysis.
iv) WP2: widowhood study (15 minutes)
We have discussed how we want to proceed with the feedback from the SB
and I would report this to you all (as Stefania will not be able to
attend the meeting)
v) AOB (15 minutes)
Dissemination, some follow-up with contacts with SB members and the website.
On the website, I would like to send a kind reminder to all for the
inputs that Eszter asked from a number of you. We would like to have the
website live before July so that we can disseminate it. Thank you.
Looking forward to seeing/hearing you all next week!
Best wishes,
Ricardo
