<p>Dear all,</p>
<p>FYI, the feedback from Francesca below, particularly for the Data
Navigator. One of the issues to discuss during the AOB session
tomorrow (i.e. ways to address the fluctuation of data in SHARE).
I think she makes some valid points.</p>
<p>Eszter, Eileen from the OECD has asked me to keep the two pages
public for next week as well so that they can also have a look at
it at the OECD. If no one objects, I would be in favour of that
suggestion. I can send a reminder to the SB for any comments and
that the website will be public a couple of days more.<br>
</p>
<p>Best wishes,</p>
<p>Ricardo<br>

<div dir="ltr">Hi Ricardo,
<div>The notes do an excellent job in resuming the questions
raised during the debate .</div>
<div>I have nothing to add there, except a small point:</div>
<div>'Female experience (e.g feministic theories )' mean? </div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>Concerning the navigator, while I confirm that the charts
are </div>
<div>pleasant to look at, clear and user friendly, I think some
of the points that were raised remain</div>
<div>relevant, in particular linking the definition (e.g. of
ADL) to some metadata or reducing the categories that</div>
<div> are based on small numbers ( e.g. tertiles instead of
quartiles)</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div> In particular, I was struck by the variation across waves
in indicators that are expected </div>
<div>to be rather stable. E.g. why should ADL prevalence among
women with primary education in Austria </div>
<div>jump upwards by almost 15 points between 2003-24 and
2013-14 while that of tertiary educated women </div>
<div>fluctuates within an even larger range and that of primary
educated Swedish women falls by almost ten points?</div>
<div>Fluctuations over time are even larger for quartiles, with
all this suggesting that the finer the level of disaggregation
the higher the<br>
</div>
<div>variance.</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>If I remember correctly, we discussed this point during the
meeting, and you stressed that the charts were meant to be</div>
<div>informative about trends rather than levels. My point is
that too much variance over time </div>
<div>may undermine the credibility of trends. Even If I had a
point, however, I may not have a quick and ready solution.</div>
<div>The only idea that came to mind and which you might have
discussed already is to report</div>
<div> two-waves moving averages rather than single waves values.</div>
<div>However, I can also see the disadvantages of doing so.</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>That's all really,</div>
<div>Take care</div>
