This would spare us (Kingston group) doing another enormous literature review and would mean the methods review was directly tied to and arose from existing research. We could decide later whether we need to test all methods to try and determine best methods or whether we do that as part of our novel study using the data sets we've selected. value of doing something similar for care (we would not have resources to read 8K papers) as the methods will be the same. However, I think we should also have a proof of concept paper on the methods applied to caregiving (i.e. informal care) and/or care receiving,

i) I wonder if it would still be worth to do a
review of intersectionality et al methods on care to get information on whether particular methods seem to be associated with particular results (i.e. if any method seems to potentially under/over-value caregiving, for example) against which we would do our
proof of concept.

present in PubMed, Cinahl, Embase and Science Citations (I may have that wrong but it is the listing of thesis abstracts). We did not use these terms: intersectionality, interactions, multilevel, mediation (or any methodology terms) as we did not want to limit
to these methods. Results: 18000+ papers. Afshin and I are now reviewing these having made a screening guide. We will both review titles and abstracts for them all (I feel tired saying this) in keeping with systematic review guidelines, although this is likely
a scoping review. I have been through 800 so far. There's a lot of junk despite our careful search. Thank goodness in a way as we want a smaller number when it comes to reviewing the whole papers. We are also keeping notes about papers with methods we were
not aware of, whether they are papers that end up included or excluded from the search. Finally, I am gathering a small list of papers, also from the search, that may be of particular interest for WP1 or 2.

Dear all,

Thanks a lot for your availability.
We will have the zoom on 7.8 at 14h00 CET (8h00 CAN time). I think we
might need 1h30 for it (see agenda below).
Stefania, could you please set up the link for this zoom? Thanks!

Here is a tentative agenda for the next zoom (will also post this on
Freedcamp):
i) Discuss progress with lit reviews in WPs 1&3.
I must confess I'm a bit concerned with the progress of these and would
like to see us pick up some pace here.
Susan and Stefan, could you add something about what you will be able to
present and what you would like to discuss, please? It would be great to
have this till Monday next week, if possible
From our side we would like to discuss with Susan how to help her with
the review on intersectionality and care and would like to agree on a
detailed timeline to complete the reviews with you all.

ii) Discuss the ideas we have for task 2.1 in WP2 that we circulated
before.

iii) Initiate the discussion on how to select the social determinants on
which to focus on. We have already started to discuss this (at least
that is my recollection), but it is perhaps good to take this further.

Please let me know if you agree with the above, or if you have anything
else to add (please do!!), before I post this on Freedcamp. Thanks!
Best wishes,
